January 13 at 12:00 (noon) and at 2:00 p.m., the Sakhalin Regional Museum invites boys and girls, as well as their parents, to participate in the Old New Year at the Museum event to be conducted as part of the Family Activities educational program.
You will get acquainted with traditions, customs and ideas of the Eastern Slavs about the surrounding world using as an example rituals and fortune-telling, learn about the origins of the tradition of telling fortune in Russia, the rules of divination and the ancient beliefs of our ancestors.
