On April 1, the Sakhalin Regional Museum will have a special weekend «Family Learning Program» for children and their parents.
At 12:00 (noon) we invite you to attend the event «Slavic Mythology: Brownie, Forest Spirit, Mermaids. Fairy Tales or Reality?», timed to coincide with the Brownie Day (celebrated on April 1, 2018) and to the name day of Water Spirit (April 3, 2018), where you will learn about the folk beliefs of the Slavs. At the end of the event there will be «Brownie» class where children and grown-ups can make a protection home amulet of straw.
At 2:00 p.m. we invite you to attend the event «That’s Another Bird», which will be dedicated to the International Bird Day (celebrated on April 1, 2018). Visitors will be invited to take a guided tour of Flora and Fauna of Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands Hall, attend a lecture and a take part in the Class (making a paper bird).
