Historical Heritage of the Far East: How to Make History Popular

On the final day of the Media Forum, a discussion was held on The Historical Heritage of the Far East: How to Make History Popular. Among the invited experts were: Alexei Kolobrodov — Russian journalist, TV host, literary critic, novelist and Ilya Tabachenko — journalist, PrimaMedia City project manager. Among Sakhalin experts who spoke at the Forum were: Tatiana Tikhonova — special correspondent of Gubernskye Vedomosti Publishing House; Darina Lisovskaya — representative of the organizers of the Media Forum. The moderator of the discussion was Tatyana Chaichenko, head of the department of the scientific and educational department of the Sakhalin Regional Museum. Representatives of museums located in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk were presented in the room. The discussion was focused on issues related to the interaction between the media and the museum.
Before the discussion, Tatyana Chaychenko conducted an excursion for the experts of the Media Forum: Anton Vernitsky, Alexander Gurnov and Vladimir Solovyov.
