April 21 at 2:00 p.m., the Sakhalin Regional Museum will host the third event of the cycle «Such Different Tea Traditions» on the basis of the exhibition «Tea Tradition and Modernity» from Kyakhta Museum of Local History named after Academician V.A. Obruchev. We invite everyone to learn about the rich traditions of Azerbaijani tea party at the event «Everything About Tea and More. Azerbaijani Tea Party». An unusual and interesting tea program awaits visitors of the museum in the Lecture Room. Everyone will be able to taste traditional Azerbaijani tea and try jam cooked from eggplant.
Representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora will tell the guests about the history and tea traditions of sunny Azerbaijan, about the varieties of tea grown on the plantations of the country, about the traditional dishes in which tea is served, and its characteristics. Visitors of the museum will have a unique chance to see the real Azerbaijani tea table, learn traditions according to which the table is set, how tea is served and what tea drinking traditions exist. In addition, guests will get acquainted with the attributes of the Azerbaijani tea party.
During the tea ceremony, you will enjoy the national Azerbaijani music performed by the invited band.
