Holidays? LetТs Go to the Museum!

Sakhalin Regional Museum invites you to spend the first summer weekends together and offers activities for different ages.
June 2 at 12:00 (noon) and 3:00 p.m. the project «Family Learning Program at the Museum». We invite you to celebrate the International Day for Biological Diversity by taking part in the event «Who Lives in the Forest?». You can take a guided tour of «The Flora and Fauna of Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands» Hall and join a class «The Master of the Sakhalin Taiga» to make a paper bear. For children over 5 years old.
From 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. we wait you in the exhibition hall of the museum where you can play the popular board game «On the Great Tea Route» which is based on historical facts, and the game materials are copies of real objects, banknotes, credit cards and coins of the 19th century. For children over 12 years old.
At 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., we offer you to watch the documentary «The Kunashir Reserve» about the Kurils State Nature Reserve.
On June 3, from 12:00 (noon) to 3:00 p.m., we invite you to take part in the master class «Painting of Sea Stones», where you can turn the ordinary pebble into unusual, truly unique artwork.
