Quest to Visitors of Sakhalin Regional Museum

12.07.2018

Visitors to the Sakhalin Regional Museum are invited to explore «Treasure Island» and «WE are Not Wild in the Wildlife» quests which are popular with young visitors and try themselves in the role of a treasure hunter or tracker.
On the «Treasure Island» quest the guys become «pirates», which make up fragments of the map of the island and find «treasures» — samples of minerals found on the territory of the Sakhalin region, or their symbols. In the ecological quest «WE are Not Wild in the Wildlife» you can check your erudition using museum tips. Adventure museum quests combine cognitive and fascinating elements that give children a unique opportunity to show their creativity and improve knowledge in a playful form. Through the quests, children make unexpected discoveries for themselves. Quests expand knowledge of local lore, help participants learn to interact, work in a team and help each other. Participating in the quest, the children have the opportunity to get acquainted with the exhibits and perceive the museum as a world full of exciting adventures.
The children who attend the summer children’s club of the training center «KB Bridge», the day camp at the School No. 4, the School No. 7 and School No. 23 in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk have already taken part in the quests.
