A traveler in a faraway country!
Come back, Ill show you
A photo exhibition «The Charm of the Japanese Province», dedicated to cross-years of Russia and Japan opened in the exhibition hall of the Sakhalin Regional Museum on June 21, 2018.
Welcome speeches were delivered by:
- Yuri Y. Alin, Director of the Sakhalin Regional Museum;
- Ryuichi Hirano, Consul General of Japan in the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk;
- Vyacheslav Furashov, the author of photos.
The exposition includes 21 unique photographs, telling about the unrivaled and unhurried beauty of the Japanese outback. As a gift for visitors of the museum and active users of social networks, there are two photo zones, where anyone can be photographed. The exhibition was supplemented by exhibits from the collections of the Sakhalin Regional Museum.
After the opening, the visitors could appreciate not only the uniqueness and ease of the exposition, but also communicate personally with Vyacheslav Furashov in an informal atmosphere.
The Japanese theme is close to the inhabitants of the Sakhalin region, so the opening brought together many admirers of Japanese culture.
