The Day of Family, Love and Fidelity at the Museum

19.07.2018

On July 8, the Sakhalin Regional Museum celebrated one of the most heartfelt holidays — the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity which appeared exactly 10 years ago, in 2008.
Residents and guests of the Sakhalin region took part in the event.
The pupils of the kindergarten No. 47, Blackberries Group and Rossiyanka Ensemble opened the festival. Matvey Ababkin, Matthew Shvets, Masha Fakeeva, Lyubava Terova, U Mi Dya, Valeria Baeva, Demian Yasnov, Milana Kim and Sophia Gazaona played skillfully on wooden spoons. We express deep appreciation to Svetlana Valeryevna Kozhura, Group Tutor and Ekaterina Senkhanovna Choi, Manager of this wonderful ensemble, and the children.
The most beautiful songs are written about love and Sakhalin singers Anna Lipchenko and Sergei Khan sang them for our visitors.
Children and adults were happy to draw with crayons on asphalt near the museum, making quilling daisy — the main symbol of the holiday, took photos with a kind, sociable and cheerful Misha, Museum bear, very popular with visitors.
In addition, guided tours of the Museum and the Museum garden were conducted, throughout the day for all comers who wanted to get acquainted with the nature and history of the Sakhalin region.
We were very pleased with the warm and sunny weather on a festive day. By the way, according to traditional saying, if it’s hot on July 8, then the whole summer will be warm and sunny.

Congratulations on the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity!
