World Sight Day Celebrated at the Museum

On October 11, World Sight Day event was held at the Sakhalin Regional Museum.
Yevgenia Galkina, Ophthalmologist at the Children’s Regional Hospital, delivered a lecture on the prevention of eye diseases among school-age children during the school years.

Usually the vision gets worse during the school years. The ophthalmologist told how to prevent visual impairment and how to identify the problem in time. In addition, Yevgenia Sergeevna told the audience about new means of vision correction and informed about certain limitations for their use. That is why anyone who has vision problems should consult a qualified ophthalmologist to get the right tools to improve his/her eyesight.
