Garbage Stories Exhibition Opened


October 31, 2018 the exhibition «Garbage Stories» from the collections of the Nevelsk Museum of Local History was opened at the Sakhalin Regional Museum.
In the official part of the opening ceremony, the Project Leader, Specialist in Exposition and Exhibition Activities of the Nevelsk Museum of Local History, Svetlana Vasilyevna Chernova, Head of the Aniva Department for Fisheries and Conservation of Aquatic Biological Resources of the Sakhalin Branch of Glavrybvod (The Main Basin Department for Fisheries and Conservation of Aquatic Biological Resources), Sergey Stepanovich Makeev, Head of the Regional Public Organization «Sakhalin Environmental Watch», Dmitry Vassilievich Lisitsyn, as well as the Director of the Sakhalin Regional Museum, Yury Yuryevich Alin welcomed the participants.

After the official part, the guests got acquainted with the exhibition — stunning images showing humans huge impact on ecosystem littered with countless waste thrown by people.
