History Was Made With Metal and Paper Exhibition Opened At Sakhalin Regional Museum


On February 21, at 4:00 p.m., an exhibition was opened at the Sakhalin Regional Museum, which reveals the history of coins and banknotes, as well as displays rare and unique exhibits that you definitely want to see.

In the official part, welcome speeches were delivered by Andrei Vladimirovich Sapunov, Chief Client Manager of the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Branch of Sberbank and Viktor Vladislavovich Scheglov, Deputy Director for Research and Development.

Speakers shared the idea that money is really an important thing in our life. Viktor Vladislavovich reminded the visitors about the opportunity to buy food for a penny in the truest sense of the word.

Once the exhibition was opened to the public, Vladimir Vladimirovich Kolegov, the curator of the exhibition and the expert in exhibition activities, conducted a guided tour to the visitors. On the guided tour, those interested, were able to learn about the amazing and rare banknotes and coins.
You can see rare banknotes and coins on the ground floor of the Sakhalin Regional Museum. The museum provides guided tours for the exhibition.
The exhibition will run until April 7, 2019.
