On 56 March 2019, the Anniversary Scientific Conference on Entomology XXX Readings in Memory of Alexey Ivanovich Kurentsov was held in Vladivostok. The organizers of the Readings are the Federal Scientific Center for the Biodiversity of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Vladivostok) and the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Entomological Society.
The Conference was attended by specialists from research institutions located in Moscow and the Moscow region, Siberia and the Russian Far East, including two Far Eastern museums: the Khabarovsk Regional Museum after N.I. Grodekov (Khabarovsk) and the Sakhalin Regional Museum (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk).
The Chief Researcher of the Natural Sciences Department, Entomologist, Candidate of Biological Sciences V. A. Dubinina spoke at the conference on behalf of the Sakhalin Regional Museum. She made a presentation about New and Interesting Findings of Microlepidoptera in Sakhalin Island. Victoria Alexandrovna reported the results of the study on Microlepidoptera which had been conducted in Sakhalin by her over 12 years. Of the 52 species of butterflies first discovered by her on the island, two species are new to the fauna of Russia.

The papers presented at the Conference will be published in the scientific journal of the Federal Scientific Center for the Biodiversity of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Russian Entomological Society «Readings in memory of Alexei Ivanovich Kurentsov».
